Happy 42nd Birthday, Mama!
Today was my 42nd birthday. I got my hair and nails DID! We celebrated by eating the best cake in Beaverton, Ava Roasteria. The price was well worth it, trust me! seriously, you don't feel like you need another piece after the first because the first was so rich and decadent. Although my Baby James was sick, I still had a FABULOUS birthday!

Rae-Rae did my braids (don't they look good?) I kept the last set up for almost two months! For 90 bucks, I'll be getting a new set in September (right in time for Picture Day!)
Julie NEVER forgets my birthday. I love her for that! She gave me 40 bucks CASH to get my nails filled. (She noticed!) THANK YOU, JULIE!
Had to get my nails did (Thanks again, Julie!) Didn't they turn out PRETTY? My hands haven't aged since last year (I wonder what they'll look like next year?) Lavender & glitter! Yes, I'm girly!

A Visit to the Doctor's Office: James Gets Strept Throat
On July 2, James complained that his head hurt and so did his throat. I immediately diagnosed him with Strept Throat because a few kids in the day care had already gotten it. I KNEW the symptoms plus he had a fever. (Didn't take his temp but I knew from touching him he had a fever!) Anyway, he laid lethargically on the lawn chair and watched the fireworks yesterday (see photo below:)
Today we scheduled a doctor's appointment at one of the BEST doctor's offices we've EVER been to! Kaiser Permanente Westside Medical Center in Dr. Peterson's office. Selena was my nurse and she was SO hospitable.
My husband was pleased to see a lady pushing a cart through the waiting room distributing complimentary hot chocolates (for the kids) and coffee w/cream and sugar (for the adults) waiting. WHAT? WHERE THE HELL AM I? Makes you wanna go back and do it all again. My husband and I jokingly said, "Let's have another baby and experience the Labor & Delivery Ward!" (ha! so funny!)
As you can tell, we were positive and were prescribed antibiotic "pills"! Why pills? His throat is already sore. Couldn't they give him liquid or those dissoluble tablets that melt on your tongue?
Leave it to my boys to be action-packed and do SOMETHING to hurt each other or SOMEBODY! That Roman! He's SO cute, even when he's sad and my poor little Logie (God my kids are BEAUTIFUL!) Not just saying that because they're mine, other people say it every time we go pass.
This is the last straw with Legend, and Ally included. They are both cut off from visiting Clara. I let Clara know that she is to record and post the good times she'll be having at her birthday party this year. Phil doesn't think they'll feel the sting, they're human, they'll feel it all!
My boys are SO funny, just like Phil! It really looks like they're sleeping. Future actors? Yessss!

Happy Fourth of July!
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! Another year to celebrate America's independence from terrorism, violence and other countries' bad traditions. We have our own beautiful traditions; there's no need to bow down and adopt another countries' traditions. United we stand, divided we fall. In God we trust. These are our mottos, freedoms and values. Each year we celebrate we're letting other countries know loud and clear that we will not be apart of their barbaric and caveman-like ways.

Happy 12th Birthday, Clara!
My baby turned 12 today! One more year and she'll venture into the World of a Teenager. FABULOUS! She's excited about going to public middle school this year (we'll see how that goes!) She's just developing into a smart, sweet and BEAUTIFUL young lady. I'm so proud to be her mother. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CLAIRE!

Pumpkin Carving 2014 (WARNING TYPO!)
When I was back-dating our family photos I put a typo on the frame of this one. It should read "Oct 31st 2014 NOT 2015! I hate those huge mistakes. Dates are so important to me because if I don't document my kids will be askin' and I most likely will not remember! I hate getting old!

Happy 6th Birthday, Logie!
My baby LOVES his motorcycles (just hope he NEVER rides a real one!) He obsessively watches dirt bike races, motorcycles races. Lord, please keep my son in one piece and alive while I'm still alive. What's a mother to do? Deny his dreams? or Encourage them at the risk of injury or even death? Ahhhhh! Sometimes it's hard being a mother.
I love you, Logan. Happy 6th Birthday, my Baby Baby.

Re-visiting The Roloffs Farm
October 28, 2013
On a train ride to tour the pumpkin patch.
Today we went to the pumpkin patch at the Roloff's Family Farm. Our first stop was the wild exotic animal exhibit. They had a baby tiger and a pygmy porcupine.
Baby Lion
A baby lynx.
Then we headed off to the petting zoo. James was fascinated with the animals but chose to look but not touch. Clara, on the other hand, was all into touching those animals. She enjoys and LOVES animals. And Logan, he was just enjoying being in the moment and taking from both Clara and James' experiences.
James and Logan staring at the animals.
Clara petting a baby brown goat.
It was nasty weather out but we came armed with umbrellas.
Me, we Clara, James (and Roman) on a stack of hay.
Logan checking out the pumkin patch.
You are not gonna catch me without an umbrella or it'll be Frizz City!
The kids in a teepee (they wanted one in our backyard).
Logan lovin' and feelin' the thought of having a teepee.
